“Words and pictures are yin and yang. Married, they produce a progeny more interesting than either parent.” - Dr. Seuss

Not mine though, they're just silly drawings about a sentient brick named Clay.

Woven Brick

On October 1, 2020, the very first Woven Brick comic was published to the internet (@wovenbrick). I used the Inktober 2020 prompts to create 31 comics and felt extremely accomplished. I made 2 more comics each week, when Inktober came to an end, until mid-December of the same year. I went on a bit of a comic hiatus in order to work on other projects. Around April 2021, I decided I wanted to learn how to make video games, and I used Woven Brick (and a plot about getting back at the game developers of brick-breaking games) to venture into that field. I got about a third of the way through an unpolished 2D Woven Brick game when I decided I wanted it to be 3D. I figured I would have more fun learning to make 2.5D and 3D games, so I started learning 3D modelling on Blender via Udemy (I have since been distracted from this, but will continue again).

When Inktober 2021 rolled around, Woven Brick comics made a full-on comeback. Another 31 comics! I figure now, since I constantly have multiple projects I am working on or want to work on, I will keep the comics project as an annual endeavor. So, expect to see more Woven Brick every October, at the very least.

Woven Brick: Vengeance (Game)

I'm currently in the process of making a simple 2.5D Woven Brick video game, but I'm learning 3D modelling and animation first, since I changed my mind on what I wanted the game to be like. Before changing my mind though, I got some pretty nifty 2D gameplay going on. Here's a little sample.
